Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?

i'm pretty sure they will reissue the 565, not only because it's feasible, but also because we've bothered them about even more then we did for the maple fretboard.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?

Looking at the price hike, the 565 would probably be out of my range, but if I did have the dosh I'd definitely go there.

The BC Rich reissues are doing well, so I dunno why this one wouldn't.

*Alternatively* they could release a modern version of that layout, H-S pickup combo, maple neck, headstock matching the body.

Those are still relatively reasonable on the used market as well.

The 565 is the way to go I think.

I would also like to see the 550RE and the 770DX in bigger numbers.

It's probably been mentioned before, but I'm still hoping for the 540PII. Had one and I miss it so much!

Phil Collen's DT555 Destroyer would be a cool reissue with an Edge trem

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?

I'd like to see the 550 and 770 as a full term production model, not just a reissue, although they would probably end up with a new trem, not sure which directions Ibanez would go in, whether they'd have them higher end with EP and EZ or edge 3 along with the other non-prestiges.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?

Ah... What I would like to see reissued, are some of the original JEM777 guitars: the SK, the DY and the LNG. The really flashy JEMs I would probably buy all three of them, but the LNG is the one that is on top of my "must buy"-list

I think an AFD45 re-issue would be alright.
