Re: What would you like to see from Ibanez?

Hows about a re-release of the original jems alongside the 7vwh and BRMR, a dave weiner signature, a herman li dragon force signature. Maple fret boards, crazy neon colours. something for the lefties. Computer aided eq balancing positronic emiters, free internet access with wifi connection. a kitchen sink. or how about releasing a jemsite tribute jem?

I'dfirstly like to see ibanez reopen their custom shop to the public so we could make our own guitars. I'd also like to see an ibanez rg with an wizard neck through with a fixed bridge.

Whoaaa a 7 string 540PII, just imagine!!!
I own 3 540PII's and would love to have one with 7 strings.
- maple board
- reversed headstock
- reversed sharkfin inlays
- snakeskin or lizardskin painted

Make my dream come true!!!
a 540PII 7-string would be cool. I think I mentioned this before, i'll mention it again......a JS7 would rule.

Re: What would you like to see from Ibanez?

RG770DX.

Based on the common concensus, on this and many other sites, surely Ibanez can see that it would be in their interests to reissue some of their classic models.

IMHO, '87 - '92 were the best years for Ibanez. Even if Ibanez decided to release limited runs of the most requested models, just to test the water so to speak, surely they would see the demand/interest.

How many of us scour evilbay, looking for that elusive find? Surely that's lost revenue for Ibanez for not having these classic models still available. Pesonally, I feel that Ibanez are shooting themselves in the foot.

Just my 2 cents...

Re: What would you like to see from Ibanez?

bring back the low cost quality japanese models like the rg550 and 570 in cool colors

that's my 2.6 cents (which is what it costs to make two pennies at the moment)

frankly I wouldn't mind seeing an hsh iceman with an edge trem. If I had access to the custom shop that's the guitar i'd get.

Re: What would you like to see from Ibanez?

What I would like to see from Ibanez:

1. More colours - think "Something for everyone". I like the modern sparkle finishes like Galaxy Black and Mirage Blue that are found on the new Prestige RGs, but I love the old neon colours - Desert Yellow, Loch Ness Green etc. How about an LNG Prestige RG? I would imagine it would sell. I would certainly buy it! The demand is there, Ibanez, it's a niche waiting to be filled...

2. A choice between maple and rosewood fretboards on most, if not all RG and S Series guitars, especially Prestige models. Again, there is big demand for this.

3. H-S-H configuration on the RGA.

4. An RG with the ZR trem. It's on the S Series, so why not the RG?

5. More neck-through models throughout the range. Without the boring finishes.

6. Headstock same colour as body on all models.

7. 24 Frets on the S Series.

8. Next Year - 20th anniversary edition Made In Japan RG550, available in Desert Yellow, Loch Ness Green, Orange etc. with hardcase. In fact, what the hell, the 550 should be brought back as a permanent production model.

I'd like a RGT with a Gibralter Plus or Gibralter III bridge, and more color choices throughout the RG line.
