Why HTML text is a good idea.

Making all the text on your Web site sure does make it look pretty, but when you're having server issues, your site ends up looking like this.

How useful is that?

They need to use the title property of the img tag so that if their pictures don't show, you'll have something to guid you by. However if the pictures aren't streaming its doubtful you'll enjoy the experience anyway.

Let's hope that in their website re-design they "accidentally" re-introduce the RG-7620, a few JEMs/UVs, and others and remove the JS100 and K7.

I'd like to see Ibanez reach more of a balance. In the old days (ie. '97)their website, like most people's, was very simple in terms of HTML and scripting (none). But they, unlike most other companies, provided really helpful material. The web site had wiring diagrams, detailed spec lists, and pictures of all available models. In the latter years, it seems style has been chosen over substance. It would be nice if we could have both attractive design with more information. Bring back the wiring diagrams and kill the flash/scripting!

Simple HTML with an attractive template will do wonders for the site. A good rule of thumb: No website should take longer to load than it's visitors will spend looking at it.
