Why no hard tail RG's?

Isn't there the RG10 with the hardtail? It is a custom model.

I would really like a non trem rg, but would like to see it upgraded a bit. First off, I would like to retain the locking nut at the neck and a more sophisticated bridge (i think Kahler use to make one) that has fine tuners, but no vibrato. That way, there is still more wood mass, more stability, and it should NEVER go out of tune. Would cost slightly more, but I'd definatey buy several (6 and 7 string please)!!! * Am I correct that Kahler did make something like this?

Shoulda closed this one up a while ago.... *:-)

A locking nut on a fixed bridge guitar is like a nitrous system on a Saturn 5 rocket. *It's just not necessary.

There are three ways to make a fixed bridge guitar stay in tune better:
1. *Get better strings.
2. *Get better tuning machines.
3. *Don't play it. *:-)

I don't remember about the Kahler stuff. *I do, however remember that their trems had more parts than an electron microscope. *

THREAD CLOSED.
