OK guys, having gotten at least to one of my main guitars (an RG with Evos) I've re-recorded the little bit with a little better sound. *Maybe you'll like it. *

A last tip, in order to keep enough vibration to be heard, you must pick the strings in between tapping, so hold the pick with your thumb and index and tap with your middle finger.

well, due to me recording everything through a ****ty 16 bit soundcard, I can't say I care for my tone either. * *However, being a poor college student, this is all I've got!

I honestly can't tell what is going on. *Would it be possible to record it a little more clean so we can hear the notes?

sorry Jay, that's it. *Now that school's started, I don't have access to recording equipment for a while. *Pull out your copy of Juice, it's near 2:25. *The distortion is slightly more than Vai uses, but I use less compression. *Sorry about the noise.
