Cool

Another song for School

Hello everyone

Some of you might remember when i asked what a good 60/70's song wold be good to play for school.I ended up playing the end of Hotel Calafornia and my teacher said it was the best performance she had seen in a while by a student.
Well i have to do it again but the song dosen't have to be from the 60's or the 70's.It can be from anytime. I want to choose a Satch/Vai song that is reasonably easy Because im not very good. Are there any Satch /Vai songs that won't be to hard?

Thanks
Sam.

I would suggest something not so technical, because not everyone can 'get it' y'know? If you have a wah, I'd suggest Love Thing. If not, Cryin'. Both by Satch.

At least most people will have heard Always With Me...... sure you don't want to do a song with vocals to please the punters - there's always Life in the Fast Lane if you want to continue on the Eagles theme (great song too)

Cheers

The Crying Machine by Vai, it's not THAT hard really, and it's pretty fun to play.

I agree with Crying Machine. Thats a tasty song to play, and easy on the ears as well.

I'll vote for "Always with me, always with you". Non-guitarists will surely
have heard it before, the melody is simple, and it has a very pretty tapping solo.
