beethovens 5th symphony

Has anyone here learned vai's version of beethovens 5th symphony? I just finally learned it. You can only find tabs for the first minute and 38seconds or so. There for i had to learn the rest by ear. it took me some time, but i just sat down today and listened and played and i can now play it. its a little rusty cause i have trouble remembering some parts when i play it, but i think i got it. My orchestra teachers might let me play the guitar with the orchestra, but then i have to put together all the other instrument parts correctly or make up something for the rest of the song cause Beethovens version is much longer than Vai's version. Oh well its a cool song!

For you info that piece wasn't played by Vai ....... It was played by Nuno bettencourt... Here is what Vai.com says

VAI.COM UPDATE: Thanks to the many fans who wrote in helping clear up this confusion. We have heard that "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is actually performed by Chris Impellitteri, and that "Beethoven's 5th" is performed by Nuno Bettenbourt (we've been unable to confirm this).

The track "Formula 1" is apparently a mis-titled version of "Juice" that appeared in the video game "Formula 1". A Satriani track also appeared in the game soundtrack - hence the confusion.

As far as Steve's attitude toward filesharing, read his thoughts below..."

I heard that it was played by Joe Satriani and I found tabs under that name but looks like it was Nuno then.

Anyway I am also learning it. Since I love classical and neo-classical music I had to start practice it. I have only learned about 1 minute of it so not very much but some day I try to learn the hole thing. But if you play the beginning of it people will immediatelitly identify it and know what you are playing. It's the most famous part of it I guess.

oh.......oh well i don't care who'd played cause i'm sure many others have played it too. I don't really care who plays it....its still amazing.

Yes it's true.. It's really great
