Bending

hi, how you guys doing...
i had just started practising my bends and i found out that all the strings on my guitar require different
amount of bending to achieve a full or half-step bend.
i find it a little weird... i checked the intonation and its fine.
is this a problem? or perhaps thats just how it works?

thanks

Do you mean on the same guitar? In which case it might seem obvious, but differnt gauge strings will reqiure differnt amounts of force to bend. Bending a high E is obviously easier than a fat low E

yup its on the same guitar.
but actually i thought its easier to bend the low E string...
for the high E string, i have to bend it for like... about 2-2.5cm to get a full bend,
while it takes a 1 - 1.5cm bend on the low E string to get the full bend.

It is harder to bend the high e because it has a lot more tension of course.
