Best place to get Satriani tabs

Don't mind paying for individual songs. I tried sheetmusicdirect but no joy.

Where's the best place I can get excellent (if not original) Satriani - or general shred - tabs?

Powertabs seems ok but some tabs are not good.

Any ideas?

Do you use Guitar Pro?

I have loads of GP files and most are pretty good. Are there any in particular you're after?

Not used GP before...I'm after 'If I could fly' and 'Scarified'. and 'Technical Difficulties'

Don't suppose you buy Guitar Techniques? They have some great transcriptions and BT's

Chimp do a search for Scarified, i'm sure mi2tom posted that one here. If you can't find it, i have it from the GT mag.

I just went through my GT and TG mag list, plus the signature series of Joe and none of them have covered "If I Could Fly" - sorry Chimp.

True to some exetent but unless you have perfect pitch one could not hope to play a tune note for note so your point is moot

Thanks mate...got hold of a copy from a friend at a music shop.

I'm looking into this guitar pro thing...not really that cheap is it? Worth it for the odd tab?

P2P apps and searching for the album name is always easy, and if you put .pdf in your search you should find a perfect complete album in tab, either a photocopied version of the book or an official file one (they must come with the books these days on disc).

Not that this should be done of course.
