A couple of sources for ya:
Andy Martin
's 7-String Book is wonderful.
You can order it
HERE
through Hal Leonard. A steal at $13.
I use this little Shockwave thing Forum member Tony built a while back. I keep meaning to send him some money...

Great for practicing.

just so everyone knows this scale book I'm referring too is awesome...
1. It gives the scales broken into boxes.
2. It gives the full scale nack patterns.
3. It gives the root chords for the boxes.
4. It gives the 3 note runs for each scale.
5. It has more scales than you'd ever want to learn.
6. Its cheap, concise and complete.
7. It also teaches how to sequence scales.
8. and much much more... lol seriously. Best bang for the buck!

yes thats the book... no matter how you want to learn the scales, boxes, whole board at a time, caged sequence, whatever it'll be invaluable through your whole guitar development.

I haven't personally seen this book... I don't know what format the book is in or anything. It definitely covers alot of scales. My first impression of the book from the website is it might be a little much for beginners... its going to take time to learn the scales, just the major ones will take alot of time... that book has 50+ scales it seems... maybe you could get both? The ultimate scale book is only 6.00 so thats not much and its a book you can keep in your guitar case(its small enough).
