Can someone ID this scale for me?

I play this a ton, and my theory knowledge is weak to say the least. I'd love to know what it is (if it's something specific).

Thanks.

E---10--11--10------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------9--10--12---]
B-----------------12--10--9-----------------------------------------------------------------9--10--12---------------]
G----------------------------11--10------------------------------------------------10--11----------------------------]
D---------------------------------------12--11--9----------------------9--11--12------------------------------------]
A---------------------------------------------------12--11--9--11--12------------------------------------------------]
E------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]

Pardon my weak e-tabbing skills. Since I was 13 or so I've just been calling it "the yngwie lick".

F# Harmonic minor.

If the key is to be F#.

Euph

EDIT: I take it the note on E string, 11th fret is just a tease.

Yeah F# Harmonic minor, and SRV used to put tease notes like that into his blues licks.. sound pretty cool

Ok I have the same problem. I was trying to invent a real catchy hook that drawn in a lot of Indian, Fusion esque influences, when I came up with a coll (albeit tasteless!) lick. I have worked out the scale tones and I can't find it at all! Its notes are:
C#, Db, E, F#, G, A, B and back to C#

I work it out to be:
WHWHWWW (W equals whole tone, H equals half tone)

My theory knowledge is no great but I know a few things but when it comes to naming scales I can't do it.

Regards!
(sorry for hijacking this thread but I didn't want to create another on the exact same subject!)

It's the sixth mode of E melodic minor. As you probably know, melodic minor is eolian descending. Therefore, you can also see it as a C#minor b5.

Was this what you asked?
