Do you ever have one of those days...

...when you're totally in the zone and you've feel like you've never played so well ?

I had it this evening and it's been amazing. I've just started learning the modes properly with my teacher, so I set up a midi track which cylcles through each mode for 8 bars in the key of A. I've just been playing up and down the scales in the first position trying to remember each scales shape. By the time I could remember the shapes I found I was blazing up and down the fretboard. It all came from totally relaxing both hands and it just clicked. I only hope I can still do it tomorrow !

Sorry if I'm waffling...I'm just a bit hyped up right now

Thats so cool dude. Its amazing when that happens. Right now i feel that everytime i play ive never played so well before! Hopefully i can keep it up for the jemjam on saturday..

Yeah man, it's a great feeling...I just need to keep plugging away until I get to the point of being able to do it whenever I pick up a guitar.
