Question

Does anybody have the backing track for...?

2 become 1 by Paul Gilbert?

I know it's a HUGE longshot but I learnt to play this recently and despite it being a Spice Girls song it's actually really satisfying to play, and I can totally appreciate why our lord and saviour would cover such a song.

Anybody?

If not, does anyone know of a piece of software that allows you to remove guitar from a sound file?

Yep it's true.

At the end of the day, playing that song is likely to get you more poontang than Cowboys From Hell

That song's absolutely wicked

I played it last year, with a badass solo and everything! Aaaw, it's absolutely great! Though.. Hmmmm.. I don't think I had a backing track before I forced my band to learn it.. Did you buy/download the transcription? I have one where the whole Alligator Farm album is transcribed, so you know the freaky chord progression I can't seem to remember for the moment?

Anyway, good luck! I just had to chime in, as I haven't met a single one other than myself that thinks it's totally kickass to learn this song Good luck mate, and if you don't find a backing or someone who can accompany you - hells, I'll come over! I'm in Sweden but hey, it's 2 become 1!

Re: Does anybody have the backing track for...?

lol, Thanks Fabio

I actually learnt it by watching a video of him playing it live and I watched his hands. I'm gonna try and hunt down some editing software so I can get rid of the main guitars off of the original track
