A drummer asked me if I knew of an easy way to notate rhythum. Kind of like tab is for guitar. I dont know of any so I pose the question to the masses. Any help would be appriciated. Thank you.

Get a copy of Modern Drummer magazine. Every issue they have lessons or transcriptions with their standardized drum notation mapped out. You can only put on 3 or 4 different toms on there, but considering how differently one kit's "highest tom" can be from the next kit, you kind of just figure it all out by ear. The rhythms are the big part of the notation, not really the particular notes.
