Eric Johnson - Desert Rose

Hey, can anyone play Desert Rose all the way through? *I downloaded the powertab version so I could see the notes on staff and the tab as they went by. *Now I want to kill myself. *Anyone that thinks Eric Johnson isn't fast should get their head and nuts switched back around.

Just when I thought my speed was coming along steadily...the way he jumps all around with that legato is crazy.

Seriously, has anyone else learned how to play this stuff properly?

I haven't learned to play any Eric Johnson tunes properly:biggrin: *For me he's the hardest players to mimic....I can play some Vai tunes and they sound like Vai tunes....same with Dream Theater and Satch.... But i just butcher Johnson stuff.. and I love it his stuff so much too:idunno:

Power Tab is this program that loads in a song's TAB, Musical Notation, and midi. *I'm sure it does many other things, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. *I'm not sure where I downloaded it, but if you search for PowerTab or Power Tab, I am sure you will find it.

It's like having the transcription of the book and the parts to listen to all at once. *I like having the actually music in front of me and not just the tab so I can decipher rhythms.
