Exotic, Wierd Chord progressions? Any suggestions

Hi there. I seem to constantly be posting in this section, i think i need to move in with someone who plays the guitar. Then i wont have to bother all you guys

Basically, after listening to a few songs, and then jamming earlier today. I realised how crap my chord knowledge is, and how amazing some songs song, just by playing a few chords in a certain way.

So are there any exotic, or nice medlodic chod progression you guys recomend i check out. Not only will it stop me playing, C, D A etc etc it will mean il learn some chords, and have a bit of fun in the process.

again i recommend theory. Theres a wealth of chords....not really exotic but beyond basic that you can construct easily just from rudimentary music theory knowledge. major and minor 7th chords and 9th chords are basic but will break you out of that rut. I wouldnt recommend a certain progression as thats just another rut you will fall into. Just learn the above chords and try mixing and matching to find sounds you like. 7th chords can be very jazzy or blusey. Dont just learn shapes. Get a book and see exactly how they are constructed. Then you can create chords in any position on any root note. Theory theory theory! I always relate people who refuse to learn theory to britney spears. They may sound and look good but they are dumb as a post.
