Hi, just been going through Surfing With The Alien and I appear to have gotten stuck at the first solo lol. You know the bit - bend 9th fret high E followed by 10, 7, 9, 10, 9, 7 (straight after pick tap bit).
Anyway, cut a long story short, because I'm using fingers 1, 3, and 4, I find that the hammer ons/pulloffs using fingers 3 and 4 cause my second finger to arch back and curl into itself - which obviously isn't ideal. I have his problem with all things that require 3 and 4th finger articulation and can't seem to shake it!
