Free Tab Programs - what's the best?

Hey guys...I was wondering what the best free tab programs are for creating your own tab. Right now I'm using one called "Bucket O Tab" which is ok but maybe there's something better out. I ask because I'm afraid I'll forget the songs I transcribe.

Also if I tab out a bunch of these songs I'll be able to send people copies. I'm working on Vai's "The Crying Machine" and Vinnie Moore's "The Thinking Machine" (which is almost done). I know one guy asked for the intro in "Colorado Bull Dog" (I think that's the title, the intro to the Amazing Guitar Trip video) by Paul Gilbert a while ago. I got most of that done just need to tab it out, sorry for the delay!

Check out this one: http://powertab.guitarnetwork.org

I've been using it for some time already, and find it pretty good so far. The project is alive, new major re-write version is under active develpment right now and is due very soon. I didn't do an extensive research on which editor is really the leader, but did try two or three - PowerTab was trully the best.

Happy New Year, folks

Yep, I have Powertab on my old P166 out in the muzak room. It's a really good tab program, imho. Now if only I hadn't un-installed Cool Edit '96!

When you add a repeat bar infront of the section and one at the end, you should be able to right click on the end repeat bar and put in how many times you want it to repeat.
