M. I. is the umbrella under which G.I.T. falls. There is also B.I.T. (Bass...) and P.I.T. (Percussion...) within M. I. No idea on tuition though, just drop them a line, they always like new business.

if you google it, you'd find that tuition was about around 17000-18000 USD.

I'm sure the odds of you finding a J.O.B. after going to "guitar school" are slim

also if you dont have a good foundation you should work on that first - for example knowing all the notes on the neck; knowing you basic scales major, minor, penatonic, and blues; and know your modes. I spent most of my "down time" teaching this to "junior" musicains because they had no theory back ground. they do have classes for beginniers but they make you feel like a tard and why would you dish out 3,000 dolars so someone can watch you practice scales.

I know some decent to intermediate theory, i guess. I know my modes Ionian to Locrian. Ionian being the major scale and Locrian being diminished. The rest being minor, 7( Mixolydian), and major 7 ( Lydian). Blues and Pentatonic, I have basic knowledge. Thats probably not saying much, I'll take more lessons from my local teacher, and probably check out the summer program sometime later. I was just wondering because i was thinking to get an associates of GIT.
