help wanted

I have been playing guitar for about 5 years and have recently began to fall in a rut. I know quite a bit of theory but it seems that i always fall back on the same scales/patterns when soloing. I was hoping some of you better players might have some scales you could have me check out in various keys. I already know the pentatonic/blues scale, Major Scale, Harmonic Minor, and Phrygian Dominant( 5th mode of Harm. Minor). Any help or inquiries welcome.

PS I am also on the lookout for some John5 tabs i can't find anywhere, particularly "Dead Man's Dream" , "Needles, CA", and "Vertigo"

thx

Re: help wanted

You could try to "cop" some trumpet and or sax phrasing. They have to "breath" while playing so their phrasing could be a fresh take on a usefull but "played out" scales you already know.
