lol , don't count it but I'm very strict to myself, but I just really love playing.

5-8 hours normal, days when I don't have any "responsibilites" (work, etc..) can go a lot more..like in the double digiits :P

Yea, I have no life...

Now that I got a new 550, my parents are getting mad! lol, to much racket! Wait until I get the Carvin V3...just wait...now that's going to be racket!

I don't practice much anymore, but jam to songs I like for the most part. I'd estimate about 2 hours a day on weekdays, and maybe 5 or 6 on weekends. I used to play and practice a lot more, but I'm not as dedicated lately, but it'll pass cause it always does.

Re: How many hours do you practice/play a day?

2-3 hours per evening split like the following:

10 minutes warmup
15 minutes theory review
45 minutes technical exercices varying from arpeggios, hammer-ons, pull-offs, legato, sweep, alt. picking, vibrato, whammy, tapping, etc..
30 minutes scales (chromatic, major, minor, pent., blues, modes, exotic, etc..)
15 minutes of rythm, riffs, licks (trying to come up with new ones)
30 to 45 minutes of improvisation (rock, blues, jazz, fusion)
~30 minutes freetime for composing my own stuff and create tracks on my PC.

I dont play any video games anymore accept for the GTA series and there was a new one I decided to buy. Besides, it's usually too hot to play in my room even when the air conditioning is on. I was only able to play for 20 minutes today and my fingers got too sweaty. So bloody annoying.

i think it doesnt, i forgot who said it, but ive heard this before, if you practice everyday, your brain would probably getting all these stuff you learned, but your body or mind couldnt feel that you're learning lots of new things, so it is natural if you think you didnt get anythign at all when you practice everyday, it happens to me when i was doing those 6 hours, i was like damn when can i get fast!! but now it pays off, even though it wasnt even fast but i was faster than before and of course much better than before
