Devo I'd love to hear your flight of the bumblebee.. I never really learned it completely, but at one point I could do it with all 16th notes at about 160bpm.

Im working on a full tab of it at the moment and Im gonna add it to my "Touch Style" tutorial scince I play some of the other piano lines at different points throughout the score,

Its taking me a long time to tab, so many F'ing notes
but as soon as its done Ill post mp3s and tab on my tutorial.

Keep an eye out for it

Steve

It's very difficult to find here in the US... Try the Internet
By the way I love your country and the music that comes from it.

Sorry for the late reply.

Vai is God,the exact same thing happens to me every now and then.Things I used to find very easy 3 years ago suddenly seem very hard for me.Its all in the mind. When you are practising exercices, you are actually forming certain patterns in your mind that help you to do things better.

Somewhere along the way,you got a little too comfortable and started doing things wrong. You'll have to find out where the problem is-your left hand or your right. After that work at forming a new pattern and things will be ok.

I'll give you an example,I used to approach this run by grouping strings in 2s

-----------------------------------------7-9-10-
--------------------------------7-9-10----------
------------------------6-7-9--------------------
-----------------6-7-9--------------------------
---------5-7-9------------------------------------
--5-7-9------------------------------------------

ie like this

-----------------------------------------7-9-10-
--------------------------------7-9-10----------

------------------------6-7-9--------------------
-----------------6-7-9--------------------------

---------5-7-9------------------------------------
--5-7-9------------------------------------------

But a few months ago,I started feeling something was wrong when I played that run and it was really messing with my playing. So,I changed the way I thought,to individual strings

ie

-----------------------------------------7-9-10-

--------------------------------7-9-10----------

------------------------6-7-9--------------------

-----------------6-7-9--------------------------

---------5-7-9------------------------------------

--5-7-9------------------------------------------

Now things are back on track again. What I'm trying to say is change your focus of attention.Start concentrating on something else(maybe your right hand) and things will gradually come back.
