Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

I have a ToneZone and a PAFPro but it's not the pickup height. The pickups are about 3mm from the low E so that should be fine.

How many seconds does your guitar sustain unplugged when you strike the low-E hard?

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

hhmm

but if there is too much bass getting in the signal it kills the sustain!
you might have to lower it and raise the high side!

on my ec my bass side is all the way to the bottom and the high side is all the way almost to the string

now if i raised the bass side to a normal flat position i would run to the toilet and throw up!

to much bass in the signal kills, not the effects signal! the source

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

I already lowered the bass because I don't like a bass heavy tone. But I'm talking about my sustain unplugged. If you talk about sustain while plugged-in that all depends on the kind of amp you have and how loud it is.

give it a few min to upload!

ok here is a patch i built for a shredder here in tampa!

he just wanted a killer tone where the distorion was heard with the strings!and not over!

the only way to get the same sound is to lower your bass side and raise your treble side! the unwanted bass is gone and you have sustain!

on my new guitar it will have passive pickups!
i should have a thicker, more real string sound than this tone!

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

yes it has!

but just like in the real world when a bully punches you in the gut everday, you will get sick of it and hit her back!

but in the guitar world you just take out their god! and the rest will fall!
pretty easy if you ask me!
