Spot on.
The tempo/timing issues are the only things that bug me a bit but seriously - if you don't like it don't do it and don't reply here.
What's the point of being nasty to someone you don't even know.......

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

Well EVH does it and Jimmy Page used to do it and Slash to some point here and there but all these guys are consistent - like they are always a bit late or in EVH's case playing with the downbeat and switching to the upbeat but he always would be spot on at the end so it made it sound weird in transit but great at the end.
Still, I think you are a decent guitar player and if you had your timing (or consistent - either always fast or always slow) then your runs would sound much more impresive.
Honest.

The Basic Sweeps, Modern Sweeps ,Modern Arps,Legato & Ostinato's

Even my vibrato is now being done with a metronome!!

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

Listen Joey, a great guitarist I know named Jack Zucker has a book out you should get. It will improve your playing and your understanding of music by miles, and maybe change your idea of what constitutes great playing at the same time. It's called Sheets of Sound, and you can get it from: http://www.sheetsofsound.net/
Check it out at any rate, look at the samples. You'll be glad you did.

The idea isn't to become a second someone else, it's to be a better you. It will definitely help you do that.

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)

Doves is extreemly boring and your timing and playing is not good.....
Fly is also very boring...
Tears is actually not so bad. It's also boring but has more melody than the rest. You still have to work on your timing though. Especially when it gets harder techniqually you tend to let your timing slip.

On all of your songs your guitar is out of tune or you have a bad technique that makes the notes go out of tune , but I think you should intonate your guitar or tune it better.

Sorry , but I don't like the music you make nor do I like your technique (if your guitar is tuned correctly).
