Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)
I have about 2000 songs on my computer and alot of them is guitar music or have guitars in it. I listen to everything.....
Your songs are still out of tune though even if I didn't listen to guitar music
I happen to be quite sensitive to this to....

Unfortunately you don't seem to have the talent to back up your arrogance.
Relax, grow up a bit, and you sound like you could become a very good player.

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)
joey, as I understand, what you want to hear in this thread is for us to tell you you're the best guitarist we've ever heard who'se only been playing *ahem* four years. Correct?

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)
"kids who have big dreams."
You got kicked off the vai.com forums, joey, for claiming you were worlds better than anyone on Favoured Nations, and making fun of anyone who disagreed with you. If you want to know why you piss people off, Joey, it's your ego. If you had the chops to back it up, it'd be one thing- you'd piss people off, but they might still give you a certain grudging respect for at least being able to play. But, quite simply, you don't, and the fact you keep harping on how you've only been playing for four years (not the case- you have pics going back to at least '88 on your site) shows this- you're insecure as hell and talk a big game to make up for it.
I'm sorry you got booted from Guitar War before we got a chance to go head to head- I'd have owned you (that was the general consensus after I posted the peice I wrote to go against you in another war), and I've only been playing since about the end of '96. And, the kicker is, I at least know I'm a total hack as a guitarist.
There's a lot of people you can learn a lot from out there, Joey, both in music and outside. The sooner you humble yourself to this reality (something Jesus, apparently a strong influence of yours, could teach you a thing or two about) and accept your limitations with your strengths (for you do have a few), the sooner you can really begin to make progress as a guitarist (and, I might add, as a human being).
I'll be gone till Wednesday- if you have anything to say to me, unless it's in the next five minutes, I'll reply then.

Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)
Apparently the "You're not" that was implicit in that discussion was lost on you.
You're missing the best thread in guitar history, the "thread killers" thread in the guitar war message board. You might have seen it, had younot gotten kicked off the site. Pity.
