Re: Joey Dahlia mini School (Killer guitar lessons)
ok joey, u can listen to a couple clips of mine. since you seem to think i only do covers, i'll pull some of my favs out...
http://premium1.uploadit.org/Elysian...vember16th.mp3
i'm especially proud of this one, my band uses this song as the intro to our show, leading up to our first song... something i wrote and recorded all myself of course
http://premium1.uploadit.org/Elysian...iffNov29th.mp3
this one i enjoyed writing, but the intro didn't come out how i liked it, i'm not even sure how to get it the way i like... but i'm proud of the leads and the phrasing. joey i don't think you have anything worth teaching me at your current skill level.

joey
i've been playing 8 years just like you... this god2 tune is better than ur others, but better is subjective, because it is still boring as all hell... least u have better tempo on this one... ur confusing "ostinato" for pedal point licks... i hear plenty of pedal point licks in ur tune, but no ostinato... gah this tune is so boring i can't believe i listened to the whole thing... ur timing gets off when u go for more "technical" runs... as has already been stated in this thread... i wouldn't have a problem with you giving "killer" lessons, if you could play them yourself... that is one of the big problems.
