OK, this song is an old favorite for wedding and other gatherings. *Whether you knew it at the time or not, you have heard Pachabel's Canon. *It's based upon a few arpeggios and it is often played on piano, but it's a beautiful piece that we can use
sweep picking and tapping on.
Here's the basic idea:

so, as you can see, the basic idea here is to pedal through a number of different chords. *Before I tab out the whole song, let's add a little bit of detail here. *Some of you may have automatically seen that line and decided to sweep pick it, but if not, try it. *It will take a little work, especially on the next couple of lines as the arpeggio shape spreads out a little.
A few tips on sweeping
* keep you hold on the pick light
* drag it across the strings, not picking each one
* focus on making your fingerings as accurate as possible
Also, let's add a little tapping here too. *Look how I modified the original phrase.
