Lotus Feet

Does anyone know how to play this? I love this song and i was thinking about learning it. Is it challenging or should i just go for it? Also, this is a little off topic, but how is Alcatrazz's Distrubing the Peace? Thanks for your input guys

Re: Lotus Feet

I can play most of it, except for the part after the bridge (the shreddy part), since my classical only has 19 frets, and the heel doesn't make things easier. To play the FULL song however, you'll need a sustainer.

Re: Lotus Feet

Disturbing the Peace ROCKS!! Some really cool songs on there. Its not "in your face" shred or over the top guitar stuff, just a really good rock album. Its interesting to hear Vai in a more "laid back" band where he wasn't the centre of attention (whitesnake was way too commercial a gig for him IMO,and doesn't compare). His solo's in the songs don't take the whole song over, but they are unique and distinctive. He has one short tapping instrumental; "Lighter Shade Of Green", which is pretty damned sweet. I got it years ago on vinyl, and recently got it on cd through Amazon.co.uk.
In short, every Vai fan should own it!!

Re: Lotus Feet

Disturbing is very cool. If you don't axpect an eat em an smile clone then you won't be disapointed. You even get a PAW preview on the 4th track. some good hard rock'nroll.

I can play most of it accurately. Just practice, nothing is hard if you practice.

+1

I can play songs I never thought I would play. It is a matter of time and energy.
