Moveable scale patterns

I know and have memorized movable scale patterns for all of the Greek modes, major, and minor pentatonic scales, and the blues scale. I'm looking for reliable movable scale patterns for any other scales. What scales do you think would be good to know and could you tell me where I could find good movable patterns for them?
Thanks
Bearit.

Re: Moveable scale patterns

ALL the scales are movable. Look up melodic minor and harmonic minor (I really like the sound of the 5th mode of harmonic minor) for starters.

A quick search on wikipedia brought up this page of info. Gotta love the internet and the ease of finding info compared to the "old days" before the internet.

Do you spend much time using the scales of different chord progressions? That is where the rubber meets the road in my book.

Re: Moveable scale patterns

If you havent , although you most likely have , learn the 3 note per string patters for each mode. Once you learn this and their relations to the diatonic I ii iii IV V vi vii shapes , youve prettymuch got full control of the neck.
