Muted arpegios in The Mystical Potato Head Grove Thing..


Where he grabs the neck with his rt hand.Who on here has got it

down?? Any tips,tricks to make it eaiser? I'm gonna pull my tab out
and give it a good run over the weekend.

Good luck with this and make sure you eat your Wheaties first since it requires alot of fret hand strength. If your hand or arm starts to get tired from practicing it, give yourself a break. You don't want to injure yourself. With me it just took alot of repetition.

Nice low action to minimize the amount of effort needed to fret the notes!

Work nice and slow and concentrate on accuracy. Don't force anything!!

Action is indeed very important. Joe has very low action, too.

The second one in D is most difficult, imo. Because the notes are so far apart... But my advice would also be to start off slowly, and then when you're able to play it well slow, to increase speed. Also, try to keep your left hand relaxed. Otherwise, it's hard to move across the fretboard fast.
