My newest and MOST AMAZING guitar student :) - Pics inside..

well, he is 4 1/2 years old and we went and got him his first guitar today

He has been asking me to play for about six months and I gave in....

He is (of course) my eldest son and he managed to play for a whole 5 minutes before getting bored and complaining that his arm was "puffed out" which I though was a good start, he can make a D chord and get all the strings sounding so I was impressed and of course, very proud
the guitar is a pretty good 1/2 size Johnson strat copy and should last him a few years...

a couple of pics of the little fella !

cant wait for him to REALLY play

I can't imagine how nice it can be for a father to watch his young child learning an instrument. I'm sure he's gonna be a rocker!

Congratulations

Awww, how cute are those pictures.
Hehehe!! That line about his arm being puffed out made me chuckle.

I hate to be the one to make something dirty out of something that isn't, but in future posts if you are going to mention the guitar is pink, please leave off that it's a Johnson, I am very immature.

On the mature side, I can't wait to have a kid to play guitar with, but he wont gets daddy's guitars until daddy cant play anymore

I too was childish enough to instantly think that should have been re-worded

Congratz Jaden, he looks cool A bit more grown up than the other toys around

Omg his picking technique sucks.

Just kidding.

That's awesome It's so satisfying when a young student gets something, I can imagine it being even more special if it's your own son
