Yeah, I saw that too. They really need to make that Guitar School section longer though, I can't see three pages of 'hot licks' qualifying as a "lesson"...
Less interviews, more lessons I say!

I got that too, Gilbert is a monster...and a nut case.
I can't wait to start working on some of those runs, I really need to work on my
picking technique
...just generally I need to play more...I dream of one day not being a hack.

Paul Gilbert guitar lesson
remember: straight alternate picking! even if you skip strings. This is THE cleaner way. Just ask (or listen to) Paul. I did! it's a little difficult at first, if you are used to switch strings with downstrokes (or upstrokes). This is usually called outside picking.
(Basic advice, sorry for those who already knew)
