Two to tango by Al Dimeola !

It's such a great piece of music. unorthodox piano playing. Nice feel !

You should check out the album collaboration between Petrucci and Jordan Rudess. 'Bite of the Mosquito' might be what you're looking for.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest. Although I don't think 6th-8th graders will be able to play this.

You might want to give Howe, Chambers, and Wooten a listen (Greg Howe's project). This is also complex stuff but its a great example of a fusion guitar, piano, drum combo.

This might not be the best stuff for kids to play but they can listen to it for insparation.

I quite like Bite of the Mosquito. Its possible for me to play with alot of practice but unfortunately the piano is technically too easy.

Re: Piano Guitar Duet

If a non-instrumental is fine with you I'd check out 'Right Now' by Van Halen. The intro part could prove a bit challenging (it is for me anyways).

Re: Piano Guitar Duet

If both the pianist and guitarist are well-versed in their "tools" & theories, pretty much any Chick Corea's material will do the job.
