Question for all you threoriticians (is that a word?) - how

All right, my theory is lacking. *I haven't looked at it for so long, I've forgotten more than I would have liked, it's p!ssing me off, but whatta do, I just don't have the time. *Anyway, my question is this, what would you name this chord,

E-----------------3--------
B--------------2-----------
G-----------3--------------
D--------0-----------------
A---------------------------
E---------------------------

I'm sure it must be an inversion of something, but I'll be f*cked if I can figure out what. *I've even got this book with like 1000 different chords and variations and I can't find it there either! *HELP!!!!!
Oh, and you can call me a dumbass if you like, I need to start restudying my theory, I deserve it!

best i can come up with is
Gm (#11)/D or
Bb (9, 13)/D

There is no 7th in either chord... it could also be a G dimished triad with a bb6. *

A couple other possibilities:
Dmaj7(sus4, b13)
C# dimished 7 (b9)

I'm sure there are a whole lot of other names

What is the context of the chord? *Do you have a key signature or progression? *Like they are saying, the chord could be a lot of things. *I happen to think it is an ugly chord by itself by means of the D natural and C# in relation to a G and Bb.

I think it's best use might be as passing D#7 chord with a D bass note. *For instance, play this.

E------------3------2-----3---
B------------2------1-----3---
G------------3------2-----0---
D--------0-------0-------------
A-------------------------------
E--------------------------3----

I can't really judge it without seeing how it is used, but this is one place I could think it might show up, like a Chet Atkins type piece with ascending or descending passing chords. *Where did you get this chord from, Jeremy?

It's from some weird classical piece in the key of D major, sound's terrible really, but it's in the song in more than one place, so I guess it's right.

In that case, the aforementioned C# dim 7 (b9) works out nicely. *Classical commonly has diminished chords and less commonly has jazzy chords I believe.
