Reading the note


Hi ! all guitarist.. Do any one got idea on how to read the note faster and better, also writting it correctly? I play but I'm not usually read the music note. Now I one to be familar with it and use it. I hope you can help...

You can write the name of the notes right on the staff and learn it that way. The best thing it to just practice memorizing them. Also when you are playing something, you can say the note's name outloud while you play it and that will also help you to recognize it.

yeah, memorize the lines and spaces on the staff, use acronyms like Every Good Boy Does Fine. they're a bit silly, but they help some people. i would also reccommend getting a method book. they are pretty straight forward with the music. good luck!

Practice,practice,practice.Reading music is something you have to do constantly to get good and stay good at it.

Its really good not only to READ aloud the note as you play it but to SING it.
if you cant sing its a great way to learn and gain confidence/control. give it a go
