shreding patterns


i'm bored so does any1 have any shredding scales or like patterns that they can show me and share with me

try incoporating appregios in your playing.... and change keys instead of playing in just a key..... Use chromatics sometimes....

would using that little climb up the scale that vai does in a lot of his songs be a good thing to practice? it is the one he uses around the end of liberty and like 2 minutes into the attitude song.

yeah that would do too....
At first I sounded like Vai cos I play a lot of his music....

I got a video of me shredding it's approx. 4 months old

Shredding is fun, but I would say to definitely mix it up. Try to find some exotic patterns that haven't been done and overdone by everybody else out there.
