silly songwriting exercise

Some might enjoy it,.. others won't

Recently, I had a lot of free time. So,. I was wondering all around the house with my guitar around my neck (true relicing).
And I was just doing some mindless noodling when it hit me..

I was going to brush my teeth.. And I made a little song about it..
The days after that, I'd do it for a lot of things. While I was doing or about to do something, I wrote a little song about it. On the spot.

From the melancholic "I have to brush my teeth" to the happy "doing my hair and going out the door" to the heavy "The walk down the stairs", etc etc.

Really improved my singing/playing coordination. And I can play while walking down stairs now .

Completely useless, but it gets the juices going with regards to coming up with new, fresh ideas. And best thing is ( for me anyway ), it was completely out of the box of what I usually play.

Enjoy your own sillyness !!

( and record it )

Thanks for posting this idea! I have no idea what you look like but my head is now filled of funny images of you playing the guitar in the bathroom.

If there are microphone stands, there are toothbrush stands.

This is hilarious!

I shouldn't admit this, but I don't care. Well, you know how sometimes people read on the porceline god? (the loo for you Brits) I caught myself one time so hooked on playing that I,...oh dear god I'm going to confess (sounds like a Monty Python sketch), played will sitting. The shower curtain had to be knocked out of the way, but the accoustics were great! Boy is there going to be a backlash from this post.

El-CeeDee, you've got to be a bachelor. If I was your lady, I would be laughing my ass off all the time watching you do this. The walk down the stairs is classic though. I'm still laughing about that one.
