slonimiski

has anyone ever studied from nicholas slonimiski's thesaurus of scales and melodic patters?

i just ordered it off amazon and wondered what the best way to approach it would be.

I just got one as well.

A guitar teacher of mine once told me to use it like a phone book: Don't learn it by heart, check it out, use what you need. That's pretty much what I'm gonna do, memorizing all that stuff in 12 keys would take a lifetime.
