Slowing the music down

Is there any software for MAC available to slow down your favourite tunes whether they are MP3 or Audio CD's in your CD Rom, so you can piece together solos at an easier rate?

I'm sure there is something high priced that'll do it, but I'm so surprised that the normal mp3 players don't do it, on the computer that is. I have the Creative Jukebox mp3 player and it'll let me slow the mp3 down to anything I'd like, so its pretty neat.

Sorry I don't know of any software, I just think it sucks no one includes that feature with the normal mp3 players for the computer.

there's a great plugin for winamp called slow me down. it lets you slow down to half speed, and correct the pitch half step up or down, independently. it's ridiculously small (40 kb). if you can't find , i'll email it to you. it sounds better than some 'pro' software.

i use it to transcribe songs where the guitar is tuned half step down, since my guitars are tuned to e.
