Somewhere to practice during my lunch break??

I've got the practice bug bad these days - want - no, NEED to play more but time is scarce!

So I figure I could practice during my work lunch break, right?!
Does anyone know somewhere in Central London where I can practice cheaply or for free?

I found this place but that'll start to get pretty expensive if I wanna practice there 2 or 3 times a week...

Anyone got any suggestions?

Cheers,
Justin

Can't you just take your geetar to work?
Bathroom is a good place - nice acoustics usually

Yeah can't you take it to work?

Also Matty is right about the bathroom being a good place. It does have good acoustics, that's why so many people are tempted to sing while they are showering.

Re: Somewhere to practice during my lunch break??

Bathroom LOL might just be big enough I guess! Although locking out a cubicle for an hour might annoy folks but I don't think it'd be worth putting up with the "aroma" from the constant traffic - I reckon lunchtime is gonna be the bathrooms busiest time right?!!

Work - yeah could do that - could maybe book a small meeting room, but I'd just get folks coming in and saying "go on, play us a tune"... I'd just want some peace & quiet for an hour whilst I work on my alternate picking or whatever.. guess I'm gonna have to cough up for the privilege!
