Tab book ??

When you are playing tab specifically from a tab book they have all these different guitar parts ie guitar1,guitar2,guitar3 etc.... do you pick just one of those or do you just thru play the tab as it comes about?

Re: Tab book ??

think of them as layers. Guitar one could be the rythm and 2 the lead. Then three can be extra little fills and licks here and there or doubled parts. You can't play all the parts at once or just one right after the other. Pick one and play all of it's parts.

Re: Tab book ??

Its entirely up to you
You could learn each part to start with and then mix them up to make the song sound as complete as possible on one guitar.
