Drink 20 beers
Pretend that you're in a practice session and that there is only you and the guitar in the room. Forget anybody is looking.
Good luck bud

Have a pint before and relax about it. A nice glass of beer tends to calm the nerves. Hope everything goes well.

Re: Takeing my first exam 2day
Just did it, went great, relatively easy, only asked a few scales and chords, one piece of rythem playing and one lead playing ( in A minor ) asked where my machine heads where
, asked me to clap a rythm and asked me to copy something he did whilst i looked away, and asked me where a
chord progression
was in major or minor, he started with the easiest chord in the world to recognise, D major
, so yeah, went fine, i find out the result in the next 2 weeks
. Oh btw i had the nicest guitar in the room, my ever trusted rg2550E. and BBTW i am only 14, so i don't drink

Re: Takeing my first exam 2day
Glad to hear your exam went by ok. I'm probably the only person who will ever advocate NOT studying as I firmly believe that you only need to study when you either don't know the material or are not confident in yourself. Call me an arrogant a--hole but I lived by this method throughout my entire time in college and university and it's worked for me.
A wise man once told me that you gotta be smart to be lazy, and when you eat, sleep and sh!t the stuff you're learning, you can slack off all you want and not break a sweat for an exam.
