Test your knowledge of intervals!

Just a bit of fun really. I was looking on the Behringer site and found an ear trainer. Give it a try and post a screenshot! Click link and go to "Ear Trainer".

Re: Test your knowledge of intervals!

cool, but i got the same falling major third three times in a row

also, it allways seemed to play the interval down, not up. if u did it more then i guess it would do some up too,

It's that empty space between your ears.

Re: Test your knowledge of intervals!

distance or steps between notes that dictates the relationship between them.
ex)
E to G on the low E string is 3 half steps apart, therefore G is a minor third above E.

each interval has a name and a value (minor third, major seventh, perfect fifth, ect). you need to look into chord theory and try to understand how chords are built and their relationships to each other in modes and scales.
