The Islander tablature help

It would be great if someone could help me with this.

I'm trying to learn The Islander and was looking through the tabs and playing them and all that, but all the tabs have the intro as one string per note whereas in the song is sounds like several. I know that in the song there is two guitar parts to it, but in this tab the 2nd guitar part wouldn't make it sound that way. This tab tries to sound like it, but it doesn't really. Do you guys think it's just the studio tampering or am I just not listening hard enough?

Here is the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRc9rNDZOCE Oh, and don't try to get the notes or chords from the guys fingers. You'll see.

Thanks
