Van Halen 2 - Women in love

I've just listened to VH2 for the first time in ages.

I'd forgot how cool the intro is to Women in Love. Does anybody have a tab and any advice about tapping harmonics as I'm not very good at it and want to improve

Thanks for any help

Mark

Re: Van Halen 2 - Women in love

I think I've got the tab somewhere, in one of many VH books. I'll take a look.

About the tapped harmonics. One advice is to tap them fast, by that I mean each tap should be rapid right on the fret (not between two frets). You could start by tapping on the 12th fret on an open string. Once you've got it down, it's pretty much just as easy with fretted notes. Precision is a good thing, as the note will ring clearer the more precise you are.

With tapped harmonics on other than 12 frets above it's even more important to be "quick and precise". It's not that difficult once you know how to do it. Good luck!
