Re: Vibrato
I listened... and I don't agree.
I'll go out on a limb and say that this guy has no credibility as far as I'm concerned as long as he broadcasts from his kitchen and seasons every sentance with at least two curse words.

are you aware that it is a joke, pulling fun at fred durst?
about the vibrato: it doesn't have to be quite this wide or slow to be concidered 'good'.. but you must admit you know the kind of people he is aiming at. i hope you are not one of them

Re: Vibrato
bad vibrato or pitchy bends = bad guitar player in my eyes.. your phrasing makes or breaks your playing. chops don't mean a thing if you can't make a melody drop someone to their knees.

Re: Vibrato
he's a really good player but i didnt find the sketches very funny, i watched part 1 too. I know its a p*sstake of durst but hearing swear words one after the other is crap humour. Swearing used effectively can add loads of humour though, dont get me wrong i'm not a bible basher
no offence to people who like to bash the bible (and bishops

Very well said. I've heard SOOOOOO many players play their very good
sweep picking
and fast runs and when it comes to holding a note in perfect pitch or vibrato? Holy off key Batman!

Re: Vibrato
I can't imagine anything worse than being in a band with that guy. I can only imagine it would finish with me getting some form of custodial scentence.

Re: Vibrato
Still, he's got more personality than most of the 'shredders' you see on youtube.

don't be foolish.. the whole thing is pulling fun at fred durst.. secondly, if you think he seriously talks like that------.......... at the end of the day, people with bad vibrato need to be either converted, or stoned in the streets...

Re: Vibrato
here is another video regarding vibrato, Mr. Gambale gives us his thoughts on it... take note how his bends are all on pitch, and his vibrato has near perfect intonation.
