Whammy Trick: *The Elephant - in typical EVH style

In his early stage shows, EVH was known to make his guitar do animal sounds. *one of the most memorable is the Elephant. *This is accomplished by reaching over with your right hand and pulling the bar down and holding the strings slack. *Now with your right hand, pick the harmonics shown here:

e---12-
B--7--
G-5---
D----
A----
E----

voice them as quickly and clearly as possible then pull up on the bar as much as possible. *The three harmonics will roar like and Elephant. *Practice practice practice

He actually did that with the volume rolled off. Depress bar and let it rise as you roll the volume on.

sorry guys-as you may have surmised, I meant you should reach over and use your left hand to depress the bar.

I'm actually not very funny. *Just ask Glen. *LOL

I was just having a little fun with Chris. *I think I'm allowed after posting with him on the same forum for more than 2 years. *:-)
I'm sure he'll get me back one day. *Plus, with both of us being EVH fans, we know it's all in good fun.

After reading this one, I was thinking of doing a little MPEG video clip of EVH's "horse winnie".
Anyone interested? *I'd include my version of TAB. *LOL

It's not a Mac issue. *I think it's an EMAIL issue.

Check to make sure your email is plugged in. *:-)

You're right. *It's probably your PC. *Set it afire.

In the above line, there are NO hidden characters, only two spaces between sentences, and a carriage return after "afire".
