Can anyone tell me what FX he's using, or what he is doing? Specially at the begining of the song...

hes just using the fernandes sustainer, not picking the notes, and allowing the sustainer to produce arescendo on almost every note. *unless youre talkin about the part where hes using a delay to play harmony with himself ---- and of course hes using the bar like mad through all of it for pre-bends.

But, didn't he use "FLO" to record the song....as far as I know that guitar doesn't have a Fernandes sustainer

I believe FLO is the axe that DOES have the sustainer....Evo doesn't have a sustainer, and neither does Evo II, I believe....correct me if I am wrong

Flo has the sustainer.
Normal 7VWH's are tough to fit with those things, you really need a back-routed body for that (Flo used to be an FP body).
