Gear Run-Down - you decide whether you need to pack yer earp

Ahoy...

I realize there was a search for me in my abscence... *I am alive and well, tho decidedly less friendly to speed-enforcing law officers. *(honest ossifer, I din't know mah van goed 90 miles an hour...)

For those attending and performing, I will give a near-final listing of band and P.A. gear which will be present at Jemfest:

2 JBL P.A. columns (2x15 plus horn)
2 18" subwoofer P.A. cabs
2 monitor wedges
1 drum riser monitor
3 800W Power Amps
1 900W Power Amp
16 Channel Mackie 1604VLZPro Mixer with snake
Alesis MicroVerb or MIDIVerb IV for P.A. effects
Sony Discman for backing tracks & 'tween tunes
More mics & cables than could choke a donkey (or donkies? *donkeys? *donkeeees?)...

Bass Rig:

Crate 2x15 cabinet
Hartke 150W Bass Head
Pedal board with wah and crap
(This is the BEST SOUNDING BASS RIG I have EVER heard...)
Bass rig is available for use by jam & performers.

Drums:

Pearl Export Double-Bass kit.
Cymbals, pedals & snare will be provided if necessary but I believe most drummers like to use their own things of this sort... *The basic kit will not be torn down between sets.

My Guitar Rig:

Peavey 5150 with BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Eurotubes
Peavey 5150 Slant Cab wired @ 4 ohms

Rack with:
Power Conditioner thing with lights
Rocktron Intellifex (if UPS hurries the HE!! up...)
RFX Patchworks
BBE 482
Rocktron Hush IIC
Boss GEQ-7 for lead boost (in the loop, not on the floor)

Rack is controlled by a DMC Ground Control. *I have several open banks if you wanna get fancy.

On the floor:

Shure wireless receiver --> Boss NS-2 --> Vox Wah --> (5150)

All of this guitar stuff is available for jams & performer use. *I will also have a Pod 2.0 & Floorboard if you prefer to use it. *It sounds best plugged into the power section of the 5150. *If you have presets & stuff from your Line 6 gear, write them down and/or bring them on disk. *If a MIDI-capable computer is at the site we can load your stuff or you can edit my open banks for your settings.

Alain's Guitar Rig:

Power thing
ADA-MP2
BBE
DBX Compressor/Gate
Mesa/Boogie TriAxis 2.0-fat (If UPS doesn't leave it in Ohio...)
Mesa/Boogie Simulclass 2:90 Power amp
Marshall 4x12 cabinet
Mesa/Boogie Abaccus MIDI pedal

I'm sure this rig will also be available for use, but you'd have to check with him to be sure...

Ryan- thanks for posting that (and saving me some typing. LOL).
I see the subs listed. *Do you still want us to rent a set? *Let me know.

All of my gear is listed HERE, and is available for folks to plug into.

Wow, we should be set for the Jemfest stadium tour! *

I know I have my gear listed... but I really don't know what I'm going to bring. *It'll be a surprise for me as well as others.

Kevan,

Yeah, I listed the rental stuff in with the over-all list...

We'll definitely need to obtain the subs, power-amps & snake locally in Orlando.

I can roll up a newspaper like a megaphone if things don’t work out.

Be sure to drag me along with you when you go to pick that stuff up. I have years of Sub-lifting experience.

Jay you should be on the road! What are you doing?

I'm leaving tomorrow (wednesday) morning. *I'll be getting there Thursday at some juncture.

Bob - Can you make newspaper sailor hats? *I could really use one of those.

You got it Jay.

Maybe I should make a paper airplane while I’m at it and save myself some airfare. :rotf:
