Jemfest 2002 Movies Here
Hey everyone. I figured I'd make this a place to post any video links or discussions regarding 2002.
I just got off the phone with Bill Peck and he has a few cool vid clips on his site!
http://www.bill-peck.com
Those guys SMOKED!!!!!!!! It was really a hugely great performance from his crew.
I was also just informed that Kevan is reviewing and getting video done RIGHT NOW thanks to Carlo. I'll be trying to fix the broken computer so I can start doing captures as well. My first priority is getting all the pics up first.

Me and Kev just finished dubbing the video earlier today
Hopefully, you guys will post them soon enough whenever you're ready. The footage I took came out great. Though I missed a lot of cool moments, since each of my tapes only held 30 minutes worth of video, what i got was pretty sweet
What a blast this weekend was!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah,
Rusty Cooley
is INSANE!!! His technique......unparalleled. In terms of shred, no one even comes close. Well, you guys will see

Gabe will get the 'Carlo Cam' videos just in time to ruin his weekend. :-)
As soon as they're compressed nicely, they'll be up on the site for all to download.
If you're looking for boring, unskilled, tasteless video, check MTV.com.
All the stuff from JF2K2 is amazing.

OK ya'll. I swapped out the SCSI controller that failed at Jemfest and now I'm in video capturing mode! Woo Hoo!
I'm on my lunchbreak at home right now so I don't have alot of time, but I was able to do a trial MPG video. I don't even have speakers hooked up on this system so I can't tell how good the audio is. This is standard ATI compression, and I'm sure the final vids are not going to be as large.
It's about 5.5MB's of Rusty just showing people some techniques. Please provide me with feedback on this video and I'll start punching them out tonight!

OK, I'm back at work and checked the vid out and it looks pretty good. Sound seems fine at my end. Please keep the comments/remarks coming.
Yes, he really plays that fast. I have some clips where he's playing much faster too. Stay tuned. Soon I'll have clips of the live performances from each band and alot of Hotel room shots.

Good catch Iain, will fix. I'll also experiment a bit with Divx5.

That guys insane!!!
Quality seems good despite the sound issue. Divx5 would be cool, but this works too. Ironically the file opens with Quicktime Player on my comp.

The quality is very good... but DIVX would it make way smaller... I am just thinking in terms of the less size of the individual videos the more we can put up in total.
I was able to get some experiences with DIVX and quicktime for my video stuff on my site and got a bit of a sense how to sneak the settings. So I am more then glad to help.
